The Mishima Town Crafts Museum showcases the exquisite "Oku-Aizu Basketry," a nationally recognized traditional craft. Located in Fukushima Prefecture, a 10-minute walk from Aizu-Nishikata Station, the museum features handcrafted bags woven from wild grape vines and baskets made from hirooro grass and silvervine. Visitors can admire and purchase these unique, locally made items. The museum is open from 9:00 to 17:00, but closed on Mondays. It's a great place to experience the natural beauty and craftsmanship of the Aizu region.
