Uomizuka Observatory in Kamogawa, Chiba, offers panoramic views of the city and the Pacific Ocean. The observatory features a 6-meter bronze statue called "Gyofu" (Dawn Wind). Visitors can access the observatory by car (5 minutes from Awa-Kamogawa Station) or by bus and a short walk. Note that the road to the top can be narrow and steep, with limited parking near the observatory itself; parking at the nearby Ichisenjo Park and walking is recommended for those less confident driving. The site is also known as "Hill of Vows," where couples can attach locks as a symbol of their love. Be prepared for some uphill walking and stairs to reach the top, but the stunning 360-degree views make it worthwhile, especially on a clear day.
