The Kamo Iwakura Ruins Guidance Center offers visitors a chance to delve into the history surrounding the Kamo Iwakura Ruins, where a record-breaking 39 bronze bells (dotaku) were unearthed. This information center features exhibits of replica dotaku, interpretive panels, and a resting area with views of the restored excavation site. The original dotaku are designated as National Treasures and are on display at the Ancient Izumo History Museum. Located a 10-minute drive from Kamo-naka Station, the center is easily accessible. It's a great starting point to understand the significance of the ruins before exploring the surrounding natural landscape. Admission is free.
