Echigo Hillside Park is a sprawling recreational area near Nagaoka, Niigata, easily accessible by bus or car. The park features seasonal flower displays, including tulips, roses, and cosmos. Visitors can enjoy playgrounds, a water play area, and unique cycling options. In winter, the park transforms into a ski area with a dedicated sledding slope. The park also offers dining options, BBQ areas, and health monitoring facilities, making it a year-round destination for families and nature enthusiasts.

Priority boarding on the park bus to Folly Hill, the observation deck, and the Satoyama Field Museum is given to the elderly and those with disabilities.
