Shika no Yu is a historic onsen (hot spring) in Nasu, dating back approximately 1390 years. Legend says a wounded deer healed its injuries here, hence the name "Deer Spring." The acidic, sulfur-rich waters are known for their therapeutic benefits for skin and various ailments. Located in Nasu, Tochigi Prefecture, it's a 20-minute drive from Nasu IC. Admission is ¥500 for adults, ¥300 for elementary school students, and free for younger children. Experience the traditional bathing culture with naturally heated pools ranging from 41°C to 46°C. Note that soap and shampoo are not permitted to preserve the water's purity.
