The Nambu Magariya (Kikuchi House) is located within the Tono Denshoen Heritage Park, a cultural complex showcasing the traditions of Tono. The highlight is the former Kikuchi family residence, a nationally designated Important Cultural Property, representing a classic Nambu Magariya farmhouse dating back to around 1750. These unique L-shaped houses feature a living area connected to a stable, reflecting the close relationship between people and horses in the region's history. Inside, you can see traditional features like the irori fireplace and displays of Oshirasama. The park is easily accessible by a 10-minute car ride from Tono Station.
