Shoun Waterfall is a stunning three-tiered waterfall located in the foothills of Mount Omine, near Mihara City, Hiroshima Prefecture. This 80-meter cascade is surrounded by uniquely shaped rocks and lush greenery, offering a picturesque natural setting. Visitors can access the waterfall via a 40-minute bus ride from Mihara Station followed by a 10-minute drive from the Mihara-Kui Interchange. Alternatively, a hiking trail from Buttsuji Temple leads to the falls, taking approximately 50 minutes. A viewing platform provides excellent views of the falls, though a path leads down to the basin for a closer experience. The best time to visit is during the day to fully appreciate the natural beauty.
