The Seven Stars Tree, a solitary kashiwa oak, gained fame after being featured on the Seven Stars cigarette package in 1976. Located in the picturesque Biei region, the surrounding fields create a vibrant patchwork landscape due to crop rotation. Visitors can enjoy scenic views, but are reminded to respect the agricultural land and avoid entering the fields. The tree is accessible by a 105-minute walk (7km) or a 13-minute drive (7km) from JR Biei Station. Bicycle rentals are also available. Visit during the day to capture the best light and appreciate the panoramic views.
