Iwahara Ski Resort, easily accessible from the expressway and train station, features a wide, gentle slope perfect for beginners and families. Known for its expansive 500m wide main slope, the resort also offers a dedicated kids' paradise and a 634m-long sledding area for added fun. With complete collaboration with Joetsu Kokusai Ski Resort, visitors can enjoy various events and services throughout the season. The resort provides 20 courses with a maximum slope of 35 degrees and a longest run of 4km, catering to all skill levels. Parking is available, and the resort is open from mid-December to early April.
