Kakitagawa Park, located in Shizuoka Prefecture, is famous for its pristine spring water. Visitors can observe the "wakima" (spring vents) of the Kakitagawa River, which boasts over a million tons of spring water daily, from the first and second observation decks. Families can enjoy water play in the spring water plaza. The wooden Yatsuhashi bridge offers views of the elegant midstream flow of the Kakitagawa River. Designated as a natural monument of Japan in 2011, the park is accessible via a short walk from the Kakitagawa Yusui Koen-mae bus stop or a 5-minute walk from the Nishi-Tamagawa bus stop. Parking is available.
