Built by a craftsman from Hida who was brought back by the second lord of the Nakagawa clan, Hisamori Nakagawa, after his work on the Nikko Tosho-gu Shrine, this temple is designated as a National Important Cultural Property. It's famous as a hall for love fulfillment, enshrining Aizen Myo-o. Don't miss the unique sculptures of Amanojaku and human faces under the eaves. Located a 10-minute walk from JR Bungo-Taketa Station, it's easily accessible from Yawatagawa Yokochō. Visit during the spring or autumn for special openings to see the interior.
