Mount Komanooto, the second highest peak in Okayama Prefecture after Mount Goyama, is part of the Goyama mountain range and is known for its abundance of mountain vegetables like mountain udo. The Mount Komanooto trailhead, located at an elevation of approximately 930 meters, offers parking and restroom facilities. The trail features scenic overlooks and is about 2 km to the summit, taking approximately 1 hour and 40 to 50 minutes each way. From the summit, hikers can continue on a traverse to Mount Goyama (1344m).
