The Chino City Kaminagamiya Moriya Historical Museum showcases the history of the Moriya family, who served as the Jinchokan (high priest) of the Suwa Grand Shrine until the Meiji era. Designed by Terunobu Fujimori, the building blends with the natural landscape, incorporating natural materials and featuring a unique design inspired by the Onbashira festival. Inside, you'll find exhibits on the fascinating Mitama Festival. Located in Chino City, Nagano Prefecture, the museum is a 5-minute drive from the Suwa IC or a 20-40 minute bus ride from Chino Station.
