Accessible from Takinokami Onsen (3 hours) or the 8th station of Mount Komagatake (3.5 hours), the marsh offers a tranquil escape from the crowds. Note that the prefectural road to Takinokami Onsen is closed from mid-November to early May due to winter conditions.
