The Komoro Gijuku Memorial Hall commemorates the Komoro Gijuku, a private school founded in 1893 by Kumaji Kimura. This unique institution aimed to cultivate character and provided a distinctive secondary education. Renowned novelist Toson Shimazaki, a student of Kimura, also taught here.
