Yoshino Mikumari Shrine, a component of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range," is dedicated to the deity of water distribution, Amenomikumari-no-Okami. Popularly known as "Komori-san," it's revered as a god for bestowing children. Rebuilt by Toyotomi Hideyori in the Momoyama style, the shrine features a stunning main hall, gate tower, and worship hall. The shrine offers scenic views from its mountaintop location. Access is via the Yoshino Ropeway (limited seasonal operation) or a bus to Okusenbon-guchi, followed by a 30-minute walk.
