Ryokaizan Yokokura Temple, also known as "Mino's Shosoin," houses 22 Important Cultural Properties, including a Yakushi Nyorai statue. The temple is famous for the mummy of Myoshin Hoshi, a monk who attained enlightenment through self-mummification about 200 years ago. Selected as one of the 33 best spots for autumn foliage in Hida and Mino, the temple offers breathtaking views of vibrant autumn leaves contrasting with its historic buildings. The best time to visit is during the Yokokura Maple Festival on the third Sunday of November, when the maple trees are illuminated. The temple is accessible by Ibigawa Community Bus from Yoro Railway Ibi Station or Tarumi Railway Takumiguchi Station.
