Mitsu Kaido Asunaro Village offers a delightful escape into nature with seasonal activities. Visitors can enjoy agricultural experiences like sweet potato and potato digging, as well as traditional crafts such as soba and udon making, and bamboo work. The village hosts a cherry blossom festival in early April, perfect for hanami (flower viewing). From late October to late March, swans migrate to the adjacent Sugao Marsh, with Asunaro Bridge and Fureai Bridge being prime observation spots, especially in the evening. Located in Joso City, Ibaraki Prefecture, the village is accessible by bus from Mitsukaido Station or by highway bus from Tokyo Station. Admission is free, making it an affordable destination for families and nature enthusiasts.
