Jakko-in Temple, also known as the "Maple Leaf Temple of Owari," is a historic temple founded in 654. Famous for its stunning autumn foliage, the temple features approximately 1,000 maple trees that create a vibrant spectacle. Visitors can explore the main hall, connected to the Zuigu-do Hall by a corridor, and enjoy panoramic views from the observation deck, which was once admired by Oda Nobunaga. Be prepared for a climb of about 300 steps to reach the main hall, or opt for the convenient slope car. The best time to visit is during the late November to early December for peak foliage.
