Kenkun Shrine, established in 1870, is dedicated to Oda Nobunaga and was founded by Oda Nobutoshi, the governor of Tendo Domain. Originally located near the summit of Mt. Maizuru, it was moved to its current location in 1884. The shrine features a main hall, worship hall, and front worship hall that retain their original appearance. The surrounding grove of red pine trees, some over 200 years old, is a designated natural monument of Tendo City. Additionally, a azalea park is located below the shrine, showcasing the city's flower. Visit in May to see the azaleas in full bloom.
