The Zenigata Sand Picture, located in Kotohiki Park in Kanonji City, Kagawa Prefecture, is a massive sand art depicting a 17th-century Japanese coin. Said to bring health and fortune to those who see it, this impressive artwork measures 122 meters east to west and 90 meters north to south. Best viewed from the Kotohiki Park observation deck, visitors can drive up a narrow one-way road or take a short hike. The sand picture is especially beautiful when the weather is clear, offering stunning contrasts with the sea and pine trees. The site is maintained by local volunteers who perform "sand raking" twice a year.
