The Oda Prefectural Office Gate Remains are located near JR Kasaoka Station. This gate once served as the entrance to the Oda Prefectural Office during the early Meiji period. Although the Oda Prefecture existed for only four years before merging with Okayama Prefecture, the gate remains as a historical marker. Originally relocated from the Togawa clan's residence in Okayama City, the gate now stands as the entrance to Kasaoka Municipal Elementary School. The area around the gate is maintained as a small tourist spot, featuring an information board, benches, and a water feature reminiscent of the original moat. A musical "keyboard" is installed on the sidewalk, adding a playful touch.
