The Izumi Greenway, located in Oizumi, Gunma Prefecture, is a repurposed railway line that operated until 1976. This 2.8 km green space, built on the former Senkoku-Gashi Line, offers a pleasant walking path adorned with flower beds, water features, and exercise equipment. Selected as one of Japan's 'Best 100 Roadside Trees' and '500 Walking Paths,' the greenway also features scattered art installations along its 'Green and Sculpture Road' area. The path connects to Izumi General Park, passing by the Panasonic factory. Keep an eye out for the monthly 'Gourmet Yokocho' event, featuring international food stalls, especially the Brazilian Day in May.
