The JA Fukui Prefecture Ume no Sato Hall is a facility dedicated to showcasing and selling products made from the locally grown Fukui Ume plums. Located in Wakasa Town, it's easily accessible by car, just a 10-minute drive from the Wakasa Mikata IC on the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway. Here, you can find a variety of plum-related products, including umeboshi (pickled plums), plum wine, plum juice, and sweets. The hall also offers opportunities to sample plum tea and relax. During the plum blossom season in March, the area hosts a lively Ume Festival. It's a great place to stop and pick up unique souvenirs and experience the local flavors of Fukui.
