It's recommended to visit this museum before exploring Munakata Taisha Hetsugu and other components of the World Heritage site. The museum is easily accessible by bus from JR Togo Station, and admission is free. Open daily except Mondays (or the following day if Monday is a holiday) and December 29-31.
