Yahiko Onsen is a hot spring area located at the foot of Mount Yahiko and in front of Yahiko Shrine in Niigata Prefecture. This quaint onsen town features about 20 ryokans and hotels. While not a bustling entertainment district, it offers a serene atmosphere for visitors. The hot spring is believed to be protected by Yujinja Shrine, a branch of Yahiko Shrine. The area is easily accessible, approximately a 10-minute walk from Yahiko Station on the JR Yahiko Line. It's an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway, especially after visiting Yahiko Shrine.
