Zensui-ji Temple's Main Hall, a designated National Treasure, is located in Konan, Shiga Prefecture. Rebuilt in 1364 after a fire, this large-scale hall showcases traditional Japanese architecture with shittomi doors and latticed partitions. The temple is known for its beautiful autumn foliage and the sacred "Zensui Gensui" spring water, believed to have healing properties. Visitors can purchase a bottle for a small donation and take the water home. The temple is accessible by car from Kosei or Mikumo Stations. The best time to visit is during the autumn foliage season to enjoy the vibrant colors of the surrounding gardens.
