The Donchitchi Kagura Clock is a unique mechanical clock located at JR Hamada Station, the gateway to Hamada, known as the "Town of Kagura." Installed in October 2003, the clock comes to life every hour from 8 AM to 9 PM. Watch as musicians emerge and the sounds of traditional Ishimi Kagura music fill the air. The clock features a performance of the Susanoo-no-Mikoto myth, where the deity battles a giant serpent. It's a free and entertaining spectacle that offers a taste of local culture right at the station.
