The Ashikaga City Museum of Art, opened in April 1994, aims to foster creativity and community engagement through art. Located a 10-minute walk from both JR Ashikaga Station and Tobu Isesaki Line's Ashikaga City Station, the museum is easily accessible. The museum features rotating exhibitions, a local artist corner (free admission), and offers free admission to junior high school students and younger. Check out the works of local artists and special exhibits. Note that the museum is closed on Mondays (or the following day if Monday is a holiday) and during the New Year holidays. The museum also houses a cafe for visitors to relax and enjoy refreshments.
