Iwamuro Kannon is located in Yoshimi, Saitama, a 20-minute drive from the Higashimatsuyama IC on the Kanetsu Expressway. This historic site features a unique cantilevered hall similar to Kyoto's Kiyomizu-dera. Inside, you'll find 88 stone Buddha statues, said to offer the same benefits as visiting all 88 temples of the Shikoku pilgrimage. Visitors can also explore a heart-shaped rock cave known as Tainai Kuguri. The temple is situated near Yoshimi Hundred Caves and the ruins of Matsuyama Castle, making it easy to combine visits.
