The Nakasendo Hiroshige Museum of Art, opened in September 2001, focuses on exhibiting, collecting, and preserving artworks, primarily Utagawa Hiroshige's ukiyo-e prints. The museum's collection includes approximately 500 pieces, notably Hiroshige's "Sixty-Nine Stations of the Kisokaido," part of the Tanaka Collection. Exhibits are rotated monthly. Visitors can learn about ukiyo-e in the Ukiyo-e Navigation Room, which features a popular multi-layer printing experience, and an information gallery. Located just a 2-minute walk from JR Ena Station, the museum offers free admission on Fridays and provides a hands-on ukiyo-e printing experience, making it a family-friendly destination.
