Mune no Kannon is a sacred site in Miyako Town, Fukuoka Prefecture, dedicated to Sanae-hime, the daughter of a wealthy man who sacrificed herself during a severe drought to become a dragon god and save the local villagers. The site features a large rock cave where Sanae-hime is enshrined. Visitors can reach the site via a 20-minute bus ride from Yukuhashi Station on the JR Nippo Main Line, followed by a 60-minute walk. A 15-minute uphill climb from the parking area leads to the Kannnon. There's also a scenic overlook with beautiful views of Miyako Town.
