The Ayu Suspension Bridge, located near Yatsukiyama Station in Fukushima Prefecture, is a 124-meter-long pedestrian bridge over the Kuji River. It offers scenic views of the river and surrounding nature, especially beautiful during the cherry blossom, azalea, and autumn foliage seasons. Beyond the bridge, a walking path leads to the Muso Falls, passing by the "Orikousan" and "Gokakusan" Jizo statues along the way. The area is also known for ayu (sweetfish) fishing, which opens in early June, and local shops sell delicious grilled ayu and yuzu miso dumplings. Be cautious as the path to the waterfall can be slippery. It's an ideal spot for a refreshing walk and enjoying the natural beauty of Yatsukiyama.
