Located within the Uradome Coast Geopark facing the Sea of Japan, the Motofusa Museum of Contemporary Art houses a unique collection of paintings and sculptures by Motofusa. Visitors can leisurely appreciate the works, many of which subtly feature angels and fairies, creating a soothing atmosphere. As a new tourist attraction in the national park, the museum also offers hands-on workshops where you can create sea and shell accessories, illuminated washi paper objects, and terracotta pottery. The museum is accessible by bus from Iwami Station. Admission is ¥600 for adults, ¥500 for high school students, and ¥400 for elementary and junior high school students.
