Takamine Mountain Park, located at an elevation of 2,000 meters, offers stable snow conditions throughout the season. It's known for its intermediate slopes, making it ideal for comfortable skiing. The park is accessible by car from the Komoro IC (30 minutes), by train from Tokyo Station (120 minutes), or by bus from JR Karuizawa Station South Exit (free shuttle available with reservation). Open from late November to late April, the park features six slopes, a maximum incline of 25 degrees, and a longest run of 0.9 km. With 35% beginner, 40% intermediate, and 25% advanced slopes, it caters to various skill levels. Facilities include a ski school, kids' area, and free parking for 700 cars.
