Located a short walk from JR Kiryu Station, the Kiryu Textile Memorial Hall showcases the rich history and artistry of Kiryu weaving. Housed in a charming, retro building dating back to 1934, the hall features exhibits of vintage looms, exquisite textiles, and informative displays about the weaving process. Knowledgeable staff offer insights into the craft, and visitors can even try their hand at weaving. The first floor offers a shop with locally made silk products at affordable prices. Open daily except for the last Saturday and Sunday of each month, August 13-16, and December 29-January 3, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It's a great place to explore Kiryu's cultural heritage.
