Mt. Tairyuji, located in Anan City, Tokushima Prefecture, is home to the 21st temple on the Shikoku 88-temple pilgrimage route, Tairyuji Temple. Reachable by a 30-minute bus ride from Kuwano Station, the mountain stands at 602 meters. Visitors can enjoy a scenic ropeway ride to the temple, offering panoramic views, including sights of Tsurugi-san on clear days. The temple is known as "West Koyasan" and is a sacred site where Kobo Daishi is said to have trained.
