Chūgū-ji Temple, also known as Chūgū Amadera or Ikaruga Gosho, is a historically significant Monzeki temple near Horyuji Temple. It is renowned for housing the principal image, a National Treasure, the Miroku Bosatsu Hanka Shii statue, and the Tenzukoku Mandala Embroidery. Visitors can appreciate the serene atmosphere and beautiful garden, especially lovely in spring when the Yamabuki flowers bloom. Located a 15-minute walk (1.2km) from Horyuji Station, the temple offers a peaceful retreat. Admission is ¥600 for adults. Note that the temple offers barrier-free access, including acceptance of guide dogs.
