Senshoji Temple, located in Iida's Denmacho district, is a Soto Zen temple known for its unique architecture and beautiful cherry blossoms. The temple's main gate features an unusual design with a bell tower on top. In front of the main hall stands a 400-year-old weeping cherry tree, beneath which sits a gentle Buddha statue. Visitors often come to admire the cherry blossoms in spring, especially at night when they are illuminated. The temple is accessible via a narrow path from the main street and offers a peaceful atmosphere for contemplation. Parking is available on the temple grounds.
