The Yonago City Museum of Art, opened in 1983 as the first public art museum in the San'in region, is located in Yonago's government district, near the Yonago City Library. It features works by artists with ties to Yonago and occasionally hosts notable exhibitions, such as the Alphonse Mucha exhibit. The museum is accessible, with barrier-free facilities including wheelchair-accessible restrooms, acceptance of guide dogs, and Braille guidance. It's conveniently located within a 10-minute walk from Yonago Station or a short bus ride. A cafe produced by senior vegetable sommelier Miho Hatano is also on site.
