Ohtaki Falls, located midway through Yokotani Gorge, cascades down in two tiers and is the largest waterfall in the gorge. It can be viewed from Yokotani Kannon. Visitors can access the falls via a 30-minute drive from the Suwa Interchange followed by a 60-minute walk, or a 40-minute bus ride from JR Chino Station followed by a 60-minute walk. There is parking available. The best time to visit is during the lush green season or in the fall for the beautiful foliage. Be prepared for a hike, as the trails can be steep and require a moderate level of fitness.
