Jigokudani, located in Naruko Onsen, Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, is a geothermal area where you can witness the powerful spectacle of hot springs erupting from the earth. A well-maintained 1km walking trail allows visitors to explore the area in about 30 minutes, observing various geysers and hot springs. One can even cook eggs in the hot springs. Be cautious of hot surfaces and steam. It's a great spot to combine with a visit to the nearby Onikoube Geyser.
