Joju-sha Shrine is located midway up Mount Ishizuchi and serves as a popular starting point for climbers. Accessible by ropeway and lift from Iyo-Saijo Station, it offers stunning views and a spiritual experience. While the final 200m from the lift to the shrine can be steep, the area features shops, a dining hall, and even lodging. Be prepared for rapidly changing mountain weather. It's a key part of the Ishizuchi Shrine complex, which includes the main shrine at the base, the mountain summit shrine, and a remote worship hall.
