The Tendo City Tourist Information Center, located on the 2nd floor of the Parte building directly connected to JR Tendo Station, is your gateway to exploring Tendo and the surrounding Yamagata region. Conveniently situated right outside the ticket gates, the center offers a wealth of tourist information, maps, and brochures. You can also find local specialties like Shogi pieces and Dewazakura sake. It's an ideal spot to gather information before your travels, purchase souvenirs, and learn about local events. The center is closed on the 3rd Monday of each month (or the 2nd or 4th Monday if the 3rd Monday is a holiday).
