Higashi Izu Geopark Visitor Center

Overview

Located right outside Izu-Atagawa Station, the Higashi Izu Geopark Visitor Center serves as a tourist information hub for the surrounding area. It's conveniently situated next to a foot bath where visitors can relax. Inside, you'll find pamphlets and information about local attractions, including the Izu Peninsula Geopark. The center also features exhibits of historical photos and, depending on the season, traditional decorations like Hina dolls. It's an ideal spot to gather information and plan your visit to Higashi Izu, especially while waiting for your train. You can even purchase eggs here to cook at the nearby hot spring!
