Located in Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture, "Calling Red Hand, Blue Hand" is a unique art installation by the renowned artist Taro Okamoto. Situated on the Seimon Shopping Park Road in Sagamihara 6-chome, Chuo-ku, these large red and blue hand sculptures stand on either side of the street, offering a striking visual experience. Easily accessible, it's a 12-minute walk from JR Sagamihara Station on the Yokohama Line. The sculptures are particularly beautiful during the cherry blossom season, creating a vibrant contrast of colors under the blooming trees. Visit during the day to fully appreciate the details of Okamoto's work, including the face-like figures within the palms.
