Explore the Ganjoji Nishifun no Etsu Tumulus Group, one of Gifu Prefecture's largest clusters of burial mounds, primarily built between the 6th and 7th centuries. Located in the foothills of Mt. Ikeda in Ibigun Ikeda-cho, this historical site features 114 confirmed tumuli and is designated as a Gifu Prefecture Historic Site. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful walk among the ancient burial mounds surrounded by tea fields. The site is free to enter and is about a 40-minute walk from Mino-Hongo Station. A few parking spots are available.
