Opened in 1900 as part of the Japan National Railways Chuo (West) Line from Nagoya, these red brick tunnels remain preserved even after the line's closure. Enjoy the scenic blend of nature and historic architecture during special public openings twice a year, featuring lush greenery in spring and vibrant foliage in autumn. Note that there is no parking available; please use public transportation (JR Chuo Main Line). Open for viewing only during special spring and autumn events. Entry is prohibited at all other times.
