Katte Shrine is located on the Yoshino mountain path, at the fork leading to Nyoirin Temple. The shrine is known for the legend of Princess Shizuka, who is said to have danced here after parting with Yoshitsune. Although the main hall was lost to fire in 2001, the site still holds historical significance and offers a peaceful resting spot for tourists exploring Yoshino. The shrine is accessible via a 20-minute walk from Yoshinoyama Station or a ropeway ride from Kintetsu Yoshino Station. The ropeway operates seasonally, typically from late March to early May. Admission is free.
