Ryuketsu Shrine, located near Muro-ji Temple in Nara Prefecture, is dedicated to the dragon god of water. The shrine's sacred grounds feature a 'Ryuketsu' (dragon cave) in the mountains behind it, believed to be the dwelling place of the dragon god, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. The main hall, originally part of Kasuga Taisha Wakamiya Shrine, was relocated here during the Edo period and showcases unique architectural designs. Visitors can also explore the 'Kichijo Ryuketsu' and 'Dragon Falls' further up the mountain path. The shrine is accessible by bus from Muroguchi-Ono Station, followed by a short walk.
